Kite the Bay

In October 2023, SF Parks Alliance hosted the first ever Kite the Bay kite festival in partnership with California State Parks and Parks California.

The free event took place at Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, people of all ages came and brought, borrowed, or decorated kites to fly throughout the day.

About

Throughout the day attendees flew kites and enjoyed live music, free food and face painting, and stations from local community organizations!
